Never Stop Learning!

Humankind is defined by our ability to constantly grow, evolve, and learn. Often times we get caught up in the here and now but fail to recognize the potential we posses. If your good at something, that is great (I mean really great), but how can you get better? How can you continue to grow and challenge yourself?

Sometimes it is as simple as asking questions until you make it to the right question or it is difficult and it takes time to come up with an area for your own personal growth.

For me, I love my job as a Data Analyst but how can I be better? For those tech people I am in between a BI (Business Intelligence) and Application Support type role. I decided I would like to strengthen my skills in Excel, Power Pivot, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications.

Bare in mind I don't have a whole lot to share just yet because I am beginning this journey of continued self growth

Self:What you thinking about Kalai?

Self-Self:How to be better.

I bought 3 books to help grow my knowledge of PowerPivot. While I can use the application in Excel with a little help from Google, I would like to know the simpler things off the top of my head.

Buying 3 books might not seem like a lot but now I gotta read them (say what now) and take notes and use the knowledge gained to better myself. I will be sure to let you know how I am fairing.

Your journey to making yourself better or stronger does not have to lead you to books but all I'm saying is most Millionares and Billionares tend to read several books in a year....So you know, keep that in mind before you count yourself out?

We are our own worst enemy. Don't give up on yourself, ever!

I hope that you all enjoyed and that you remember to live your life the best way that you can and not for others.
