This statement y'all! It speaks to my heart, it speaks to the 20 pounds I have gained in the last 2 years, it speaks to those clothes that don't fit, it speaks to all those insecurities.

Why am I criticizing myself for a society that has different standards than me?

Love Yourself Girl!

Don't get me wrong I would love some abs but I also love myself just the way I am...so I decided to buy a few pants that fit because I need to be able to breath when I am at work. Trying to wear pants that I could fit last year but this year they are to tight literally does more harm than good. I work out two to three times a week and I eat relatively healthy.

It took some unknown person putting this statement online and my stumbling across it for me to have my "ah ha" moment. I am a beautiful woman who happens to be a size 8/10 that doesn't take away from how awesome Kalai is! I hope this quote impacts someone else as much as it did me.
